Greetings, sisters in Christ! I am so blessed that you are taking a few minutes of your time to read not only my first post, but the introduction for my first mini-Bible study with you all! As I introduce each book we study, I will give a brief overview. This will help us to see what it’s about and get us excited for what God will teach us.

The verse God directed me to use for this ministry was Esther 4:14b. I can’t think of a better book to start with than the one this verse is found in. May God bless and reveal much to us as we study! Here is a general overlook at the book of Esther:

 Author of the book: unknown

Written: 5th century B.C.

Key people: Esther, Mordecai, Haman, and King Ahasuerus (also known as Xerxes)

The book of Esther lies between the books Nehemiah and Job and closes the historical section of the Old Testament. This is one of two books (Ruth being the other) where the author wrote primarily on a female’s experiences.

Along with these points, I will also give application; I hope you take time to reflect on what we learn each week and ask God to help you in the ways needed. The prayer is something you can pray aloud or in your heart, but take to heart that as I wrote it, I prayed it over you all. <3

Love this Tera! So important to be introspective & be reminded of what is residing in our hearts. Sometimes it’s shocking and at other times we just need to confess it already.
